Third Grade Bible Recognition Sunday

On October 4 our third graders each received a Bible from this congregation, unwrapped at the front of the sanctuary with their parents beside them.

Sunday, November 8 closes that season. Early in the 10:15 service we name the children and bless them, and the book goes home for good. They have spent four Sunday mornings learning their way around it with Diane Mears, a parent or trusted adult in the room alongside them.

This is also New Member Sunday, so it is a morning of welcomes at both ends of the church family.
